We worked with the non-profit organization, Downstate Technology Center, on a series of design interventions in their two-story biotechnology laboratory and office building. The interventions enhance the vibrant energy and creative nature of the start-up science facility and strengthen its connections to the neighborhood and broader life-science community.

Working within a limited budget Linearscape designed a series of interior graphics that brighten and unify the monolithic interior space.  The entrance has been reconfigured to accommodate new mailboxes and shelving for additional packages.  The pantry was renovated and the common area has been designed to be a flexible working space with movable tables and chairs. 

New stainless signage and fabric awning have been installed on the exterior facade and the concrete courtyard has been configured with new planting beds and concrete pavers.
